We invite seniors to join us for an afternoon social. We will have refreshments and holiday crafts available. This event is free of charge and we are able to provide transportation for those needing it. Please call the Sportsplex office at 250-615-3000

Deck the Halls Christmas Craft Night - Adults

$15/class (max 20/class)

Choose from 3 different holiday crafts to make while enjoying refreshments and holiday music. All supplies will be provided and if participants have time, they may choose to make more than one craft.

Teens

Gingerbread House Decorating Contest- Teens

Free but must register (max 20/class)

Join us for an evening of Gingerbread House decorating. All supplies will be provided and class participants will determine the winning house. There will be prizes!

Dec 16 6:30 pm-8:30 pm

Ugly Christmas Shirt making contest – Teens

Free but must register (max 20/class)

We will supply the tshirt and the decorations, you create the ugly Christmas shirt of your dreams. As a group we will determine the Ugliest Christmas Shirt and award a prize.

Preschool and School age

Ho Ho Hot Cocoa and Holiday creations – school age

$15/class (max 15/class)

5-12 year olds

Join us for an evening of hot chocolate tasting and creating. Children will go home with their own decorated jar filled with their hot chocolate concoctions to make at home later or give as a holiday gift.

An evening of holiday games to get all that extra energy out. We will start with a scavenger hunt to find all things Christmas around the building and then we will come back for high energy games, minute to win it games and end with some Christmas trivia.

Join us as we try and locate the Gingerbread Man. Once we find him, we will decorate and eat him while enjoying stories and songs to get us ready for the holiday season.

T’was the day before Christmas and parents are still so busy!! Drop your child off for a morning of holiday crafts, games, music and fun and you don’t even have to get dressed for it because were having a pajama party!!

Are you new to the game of hockey? Too intimidated to join an adult recreation league? Come out for Adult Intro to Hockey! We'll go over the basics of skating, passing and shooting, along with the rules of the game, in a fun welcoming environment!

Must be able to stand on skates on the ice (we'll help with the skating part!) Full gear is required.

Due to high demand, this season will be expanding from 12 to 14 teams. The league will run for 14 weeks, which means if the league is at capacity, each team will have two "bye weeks".

A FREE program for adults 65+ who want to move more confidently, improve their balance and coordination to prevent falls, and improve their physical ability to perform daily tasks and activities.

Participants must be able to follow directions; due to safety concerns, this program may not be suitable for people with dementia.

Walkers and canes may be used during class.
