The City of Terrace Mayor and Council celebrated and presented the 2024 Order of Terrace recipients with their official coins and certificates this week. The awards presentation followed by a wine and cheese receptions took place at the Coast Mountain College cafeteria, in Waap Haawk, on Wednesday, September 11.
The six 2024 Order of Terrace recipients and their invited guests attended along with the City of Terrace Mayor and Council. Mayor Sean Bujtas MC'ed the event and City Councillors each took a turn reading the recipients' biographies.
The Order of Terrace is given to select individuals in recognition of outstanding contributions to the wellbeing of the City of Terrace, and to recognize significant achievement and service to the community in a wide variety of fields. This year's recipients have gone above and beyond for the community of Terrace.
