Reservations
- Not required: Public Swims, Parent & Tot, Lane Swims, Aquafit, or Gym Use
- Required: Children's Lessons
- Recommended: Adult Beginner Lessons and Jr. Lifeguard Club

Admissions
- This is a drug- and alcohol-free facility; admission may be refused for those appearing to be under the influence.
- Patrons who have flu-like symptoms/illness such as diarrhea or vomiting are not permitted to enter the pool.
- Patrons who have head colds, ear or nose discharge, ear infections, open sores, or bandages are not permitted to enter the pool.
- Street shoes are not permitted in these areas: pool deck, changing room, and fitness centre.
- Appropriate swimwear is required (shirts and shorts are OK if a swimsuit is underneath).
Pool Rules
- Cell phone use for the purpose of recording or photographing is prohibited within the whole facility without authorization.
- Directions from aquatics staff must be obeyed at all times.
- Please be courteous. Foul language, horseplay, fighting, or abusive behaviour is not tolerated.
- A cleansing shower, with soap and water, is required before entering the pool area.
- Any injury or pool contamination must be reported to staff immediately.
- Diving is only allowed in the deep end.
- The practice of hyperventilation and extended breath holding is not permitted.
- Lifeguards may require patrons to complete a swim test to ensure their safety. For the swim test, a patron is asked to swim the width of the main pool in shallow water comfortably. If the patron does not pass a facility swim test, they will be required to wear a lifejacket.
- No sitting or hanging on lane lines.
- No splashing the guards or purposely distracting them in any way.
Food and Drink
- No food, gum, or drink allowed on deck or in changing rooms (except water and sports drinks).
- No glass containers are allowed in the changing rooms or pool area.
Children and Youth
- All children 7 years and under MUST be accompanied by an adult within the pool area (at least 16 years of age or 14 years of age AND completed Bronze Medallion or better).
- Children must be no more than arm's length away from the adult at all times.
- Maximum of 3 children (under the age of 8) per adult.
- Children who are not toilet trained must wear a swim diaper under their swimsuit (no regular diapers in the pool).
- Strollers are not permitted in the changing rooms or pool area.
Pool Capacity
- The number of patrons allowed access is subject to the ratio of lifeguards to public.
Spectators
- Spectators must use the designated spectator areas (behind the windows or up on the balcony) and are not permitted on the pool deck.
Equipment
- Life jackets and other personal flotation devices may only be used if the child is accompanied in the water and within arm’s reach of an adult.
- Water weights, Aquafit noodles, and kickboards are for aquatics classes and adult use only.
Water Fountains
- Water fountains are available. Please bring a water bottle if desired.
Change Rooms and Lockers
- Fitness centre users and pool users can access the changing rooms. Lockers are available for use.

- Members Laps and Fitness Centre: For membership holders only; no cash, debit, drop-ins, or locker rentals.
- Aquafit: Ages 16+ (instructor-led).
- Parent & Tot: Leisure pool only; children must be under 8 years of age.
- School Groups: Leisure and main pools closed to public; family changing room closed to public. Hot tub and saunas open to public.
- Children's Lessons: Leisure and main pools closed to public; hot tub and saunas open to ages 16+.
- Lane Swim: Ages 16+.
- Public Swim: All ages welcome with one double lane open to ages 16+ swimmers while pool patron numbers are under 100.
- Fitness Centre Use: Ages 14+ (12+ with adult supervision)
- Hot Tub, Sauna, & Fitness Centre: Adults only while birthday parties and swimming lessons take place.
- Climbing Wall: Open for use during public swim times. Diving board and double lane close while climbing wall is in use.

General Rules

Camps, birthday parties, classes, and other groups entering during any public swim times must follow the same rules as stated under the pool rules section.

One adult can be responsible for a maximum of 3 children who are 7 years of age and under.

Groups must wait for direction from the lifeguard on the pool deck bench prior to entering the pool and complete a swim test at the lifeguard’s discretion.

Leisure Pool Rules
Temperature varies between 90° and 94° F.
- No climbing on amenities.
- No climbing on the rocks.
- Feet first only entries.
- No climbing on the railing.
- Large mats and pool toys are not permitted.
- Do not block the jets or flow of patrons in the Lazy River.
- No sitting, standing, or climbing on the river rocks.
Big Pool Rules
Temperature varies between 80° and 84° F.
Lanes
- One lap lane line is in during public swims until our patron count is over 120, then it comes out.
- Lap lanes are for lap swimming and water walking.
- Lap swimmers must swim in a circle as soon as a 3rd swimmer enters the lane.
- Lap lane availability will be limited during swim lessons and swim team times.
Deep End
- Only one amenity (climbing wall or diving board) will be open at a time.
- Swimmers may not swim back and forth in the deep end when the diving board or climbing wall is in use.
Diving Board
- One person at a time.
- Divers must swim to the side of the pool and exit the deep end before the next person jumps.
- No hanging on the diving board.
Climbing Wall
- Users must wait for their turn next to the wall.
- One person at a time must climb, drop, then exit in the deep end.
- No flips.
- Climbers must enter the water feet first.
- No life jackets allowed while climbing.
- Max weight restriction of 250 lbs.

Availability: The hot tub and saunas (stteam room and dry sauna) are available whenever the fitness centre is open. During private rentals, the hot tub and saunas are available to adults only. The only exception is during swim meets, when all pool areas are closed to the public.
The steam room temperature varies between 99° and 104° F.
The hot tub temperature varies between 102° and 104° F.- Children aged 11 and under are not permitted to use the hot tub or saunas without an adult. This includes sitting on the side and stairs of the hot tub.
- People with heart conditions, who are pregnant, or who have special medical conditions should check with their doctor before using the saunas or hot tub.
- The recommended time for using the hot tub or saunas is 8–10 minutes. Be sure to cool down completely after use.
- Patrons are not permitted to play with the jets or grates, perform handstands, or go underwater.
- Please refrain from using eucalyptus or any other scented oils/lotions in the saunas. Please be considerate of others who may have a fragrance sensitivity. Saunas will shut down for cleaning if scented products are detected.
- Personal grooming is prohibited in the saunas.
- Users must refrain from spitting.
- It is prohibited to pour water on the temperature sensors or dry sauna rocks.

Admission
- You must be 14+ to use the fitness centre unsupervised.
- Patrons 12–13 years of age may use the fitness centre under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
- Those under the age of 16 need to have an informed consent form on file. (Ask for one at the front desk.)
Fitness Centre Rules
- Clean indoor shoes and proper gym attire are required. No bathing suits or bare feet.
- Gym users have access to change rooms for showers.
- Gym users have access to the saunas/hot tub (except during private rentals).
- Gum, food, or glass containers are not permitted.
- Clean equipment before and after use.
- Collars, clips, and spotters are recommended for those using free weights. Users should return all weights to the rack.
- Any injuries and/or signs of dizziness, chest pain, or fatigue are to be reported to the front desk.
