• For Personal Service Businesses

  The following types of businesses, which provide a service to the body of another person, must receive approval by an Environmental Health Officer prior to a City of Terrace business licence being issued. Once the business receives a copy of the Health approval, they must submit it to the City's Building & Licensing department, and a City Building inspector will determine whether all requirements have been met. • For Short-Term Rentals

  Short-term rental hosts, platforms and strata hotel platforms in BC must register in the Government of BC's short-term rental registry and pay annual registration fees. Hosts, platforms, and strata hotel platforms operating in BC must follow a simple online process to register with the Province by May 1, 2025. More info on the Government of BC website.
