Try out Microsoft Teams with us! This meeting is your chance to test out Microsoft Teams if you haven’t used it before. Join us on Wednesday, January 6, at 7:00 pm.
WHY IS THIS NEEDED?
In accordance with the most recent Provincial Health Officer Order regarding gatherings and public events, the public is currently not permitted to attend Council Meetings, Public Hearings, or Committee of the Whole meetings. However, local governments are encouraged to hold electronic Council meetings and public hearings in the meantime. The City of Terrace will be holding our meetings electronically via Microsoft Teams until further notice from the Provincial Health Officer.
When will the City be using Teams for meetings in the near future?
- January 11: Public Hearing (7:00 pm) and Council Meeting (7:30 pm)
- January 14: Public Hearing on the proposed Official Community Plan Bylaw amendments related to the proposed inland port (5:00 pm)
If you have something to say, we hope you’ll join us for these meetings on Teams! (Remember, if you just want to observe the meetings without speaking, you can watch through Facebook or our website as usual.)
MORE ABOUT THIS TEAMS TEST SESSION:
Never used Teams before? This test session on Microsoft Teams will give you a chance to see what it looks like, make sure your microphone and speakers are working, learn how to “raise your hand,” and/or download the app on your phone. Don’t worry, you don’t need a Microsoft account to join the meeting as a guest.
