ALERT: 1600 BLOCK LAKELSE TRAFFIC PATTERN CHANGES
On Sunday, October 29, from 7 am to 6 pm, Lakelse Avenue will be one-way only westbound between Kalum and Emerson Street, with temporary lane closures on Kalum and Emerson Streets. This partial closure will allow the contractor to use heavy equipment to remove the larger structural components of the Lakelse canopy.
Pedestrian access will be reduced and closed at times while this work is completed. Street parking on Lakelse will also be reduced. Sunday was selected due to the reduced number of businesses open in the area, but please use caution if you’re driving or walking nearby and obey all signage and flaggers for your safety.
