We are asking loved ones to remove ornamental items from plots at the Terrace Cemetery by April 15.

The snow has melted, and seasonal maintenance will soon begin. Some plots, however, are still covered with ornamental items – including many items which have been degraded by the winter weather.

These items make cemetery maintenance difficult and potentially dangerous.

We know many of these items have sentimental value for families, so we are asking loved ones to remove them. Leftover items will be removed.  

As per Bylaw No. 1279-1992-35 ornamental items are to be removed weekly.
