One of the two City garbage collection trucks has experienced a mechanical breakdown and is unable to conduct its regularly scheduled collection in the Horseshoe neighbourhood today. The truck's mechanical issue is currently being resolved and will be back in service tomorrow.

The other City garbage collection truck IS conducting its regularly scheduled pick-up today. In the event you live in the Horseshoe area and your garbage is not collected today, please note you can still place your containers out and your garbage WILL be collected Thursday or Friday this week. We apologize for any inconvience this may cause and hope to have your garbage collected as soon as possible. If you have any questions please direct them to Public Works at 250-615-4021.
