The Rotary Club of Terrace and the Rotary Club of Terrace Skeena Valley have been working with the City of Terrace to build a Splash Park in the George Little Park for three years. Construction began on the site last week and the project is moving forward and expected to be completed by end of May or early June.
This project is one of the more visible and valued community projects ever done in Terrace and once completed the entire facility, including the new Kinsmen playground that is being built adjacent to the Splash Park, will be a popular spot for children young and old.
The Rotary Clubs are raising $250,000 and are in need of additional financial donations to complete their financial commitmentfor the project. They are in their final push of their fundraising campaign and are asking the community for help.
If you are interested in donating towards this project you can make a financial donation at City Hall and all of the money will be forwarded to the Rotary Clubs. Your cash donation is eligible for a tax reciept.
