The City of Terrace Council is pleased to announce that, starting this month, Finance Director Lori Greenlaw, who has worked at the City in various capacity for close to 20 years, will be covering the City Manager position when current City Manager Maggie Arruda goes on maternity leave.
"I am excited to take on the role of Interim City Manager during Maggie’s absence. I look forward to working with Mayor and Council, along with the outstanding team at the City of Terrace, to continue serving the community and advancing key initiatives,” said Greenlaw.
Greenlaw was selected from numerous qualified internal candidates. Greenlaw started with the City of Terrace in 2006 and has been employed in various roles within the Finance Department ever since. For the last eight years, she has been the Director of Finance. Greenlaw comes to the City Manager position with a comprehensive understanding of the City’s operations, policies, and priorities including experience negotiating and implementing the City’s collective agreements.
