HOWE CREEK TRAIL TEMPORARY CLOSURES

During the shoulder repair work on Lanfear Hill, the section of Howe Creek Trail between Thomas and the bottom of Lanfear Hill is at risk of falling rocks. Rock being placed on the Lanfear shoulder could potentially roll down the bank and onto the trail below.

To ensure the safety of trail users, we will be closing the trail at times. From now through August 15, that section of trail MAY be closed during the construction hours of 7 am–5:30 pm, Monday to Friday. If the trail is closed, there will be signage in place. Please obey this signage for your safety and take an alternate route.
