The weather in our area is expected to get colder and colder over the next few days.

Tips to stay warm and safe

  • Wear a tuque.
  • Wear warm grippy shoes to keep feet warm and prevent falls.
  • Wear layers of clothing so you can put them on and take them off as needed.
  • Check on your loved ones.
  • To prevent water lines in your house from freezing (and potentially bursting), try keeping a tap in your house on. A small trickle should work.
  • Keep your pets inside.
  • Drive slowly.
  • Warm up your vehicles and scrape your windows so you have good visibility while driving.
