Earlier this year, the City of Terrace completed the Transportation Master Plan.  In this plan, the intersection of Kenney Street and Keith Avenue was identified as a high collision area with long wait times for Keith Avenue through traffic.  To address these issues, City crews have completed the installation of a four-way stop today at this intersection, including rumble strips and flashing red lights for added safety.

Once bags have been removed from the signs the intersection will be considered active as a four-way stop.

The City Public Works department will continue to implement the recommendations of the Transportation Master Plan, which can be viewed at http://www.terrace.ca/city-hall/departments/development-services/planning
