Regular Council Meeting: 7:30 pm

Regular Council: 

• Council will consider a budget increase of $ 2,123,619 to be allocated to fund the increased cost of the Phase 2 landfill closure including ongoing environmental monitoring and treatment operating costs;
• Council will receive the 2023 Budget Consultation Survey Results feedback for information;
• Council will consider incorporating the financial plan objectives into the 2023 – 2027 Financial Plan Bylaw;
• Council will consider including the Draft General Operating Budget (10.33% increase to property tax levy), the Draft Sewer Operating budget (3% increase to frontage taxes and user fees), and the Draft Water Operating Budget (3% increase to frontage taxes and user fees) in the 2023 – 2027 Financial Plan Bylaw;
• Council will consider that the capital projects and funding sources listed in the Draft General Capital Plan, Draft Sewer Capital Plan, and Draft Water Capital Plan be included in the 2023-2027 Financial Plan Bylaw;
• Council will receive the Terrace RCMP Quarterly Report for information;
• Council will receive the Social Development Program Quarterly Update Report for information;
• Council will consider approving the Mayor’s travel to the UBCM Housing Summit, Housing BC Together;
• Council will receive the report “2022 General Local Election - Notice of Failure to File Candidate Disclosure Statement and Late Filing fee” for information; and

Committee of the Whole (Development Services Component):

• Council will consider 1st and 2nd reading of a Bylaw to amend the zoning designation from RS1 – Rural Suburban Residential to R1 – Single Detached Residential – for 4305 Munroe Street and a portion of 4301 Munroe Street.
