On Monday, November 9, there will be a regular Council meeting for the City of Terrace. It will be open to the public for viewing and participation during the usual designated time at the end of the meeting. We will be starting the night with a public hearing at 7:00 pm that is also open for public viewing and participation.

On the public hearing agenda:
- Council will be considering passing third reading and adoption of bylaws to amend the Official Community Plan (OCP) Bylaw and the Zoning Bylaw for the property located at 5108 Joliffe Avenue. The property is currently Zoned R3, which only permits townhouses and semi-detached (duplex) dwellings; however, the owner has a potential buyer who would like to build a single detached dwelling on the property.

On the regular council meeting agenda:
- Monique Gagne will be requesting the banning of fireworks;
- Council will be reviewing a Zoning Bylaw amendment for the property located at 5008 Agar Avenue. Staff will be recommending that Council consider adding "Technical Consulting Firm" and "Trade Contractor" as additional site-specific permitted uses on the north 1/2 of the property, and adding "Office" as a site-specific permitted use for the South 1/2 of the property;
- The RCMP Officer-In-Charge will be presenting the RCMP Detachment Third Quarter Report;
- The Fire Chief will be presenting the Fire Department Third Quarter Report;
- Council will be reviewing the October 2020 Building Synopsis; and
- Council will be reviewing the August 6, 2020, Public Art Advisory Committee minutes.
