Due to the extreme wind storm on July 22, 2019, trail users in the Terrace area are advised to use caution. Trails of particular concern are Ferry Island, How Creek, Tetrault Park, and Terrace Mountain.
Sections of the Ferry Island trails have been closed due to hanging branches and trees hung up in other trees. Please respect the trail closure signs. City crews are working diligently to remove dangerous trees and debris and to re-open the trails.
The City of Terrace does not recommend using any of the trails during or immediately after high winds.
