The Terrace Fire Department has issued a complete fire ban within the city limits due to the "extreme" rating of forest fire hazard in the Northwest Fire Centre. The ban also includes Ferry Island Campground and backyard food fires, however, use of propane and briquette BBQs are permitted for use.
