Effective immediately, Tuesday, August 27, the City of Terrace is easing water restrictions, moving from Stage 3 back to Stage 2.

A change of seasons, cooler weather and reduced water consumption throughout the city, resulting in a stable water level, have allowed for this change. Thank you to all residents who continue to abide by the water restrictions in place.

Under Stage 2 water restrictions, sprinkling is allowed but at reduced hours.

  • Sprinkling is only permitted from 6 am to 9 am and 7 pm to 10 pm on your designated days:
    • Odd-numbered addresses – Wednesdays and Sundays
    • Even-numbered addresses – Tuesdays and Saturdays
  • No sprinkling from 9 am to 7 pm daily City-wide.
  • Watering by handheld hose with a controlled nozzle is allowed anytime.

And remember! Vegetable gardens and fruit trees are exempt from all watering restrictions.

Further updates will be provided as soon as conditions allow adjustments in these restrictions.
