The Terrace & District Aquatic Centre needs lifeguards! A shortage of lifeguards in Terrace and around the province is affecting pool programming.

Saving lives
Training
The City of Terrace regularly hosts training programs to support lifeguard skill development. Some courses are offered at a 50% discount for those planning to use the training to work at our facility; check the course descriptions for the full criteria.
Training Progress
- Bronze Medallion/Bronze Cross
- Standard First Aid & CPR or Aquatic Emergency Care
- National Lifeguard
- Swim Instructor
