This new public toilet is just one solution the City has put towards addressing long-standing concerns from local residents and businesses about the need for a public toilet downtown. The location was chosen based on an assessment of several potential locations. Some deciding factors included public access and access to water, sanitary and electrical services.

Other public toilets close to downtown include:

  • George Little Park washrooms, near the playground
  • Kwinitsa Building washroom (open to the public when the operators of the building, Chill Soda Shop, are open)
  • Sportsplex washrooms
