City Hall
On Monday, August 10, there will be a regular Council meeting for the City of Terrace. It will be open to the public for viewing and participation during the usual designated time at the end of the meeting. Please see our Mayor & Council FAQ section for all the ways to participate during the pandemic.

On the agenda:
- Terrace Off Road Cycling Association will be providing an update of their HuB project. Terrace & District Museum Society will be presenting a request for support to construct a storage shed at Heritage Park Museum.
- Committee of the Whole: A Development Permit for 5030 Keith Avenue has been requested by Progressive Ventures. They wish to construct a new industrial building on the property.
- Committee of the Whole: There is an application for a Development Variance Permit for a residential building on a strata lot at 4921 Halliwell Avenue. The request is for a variance to allow the construction of a house that would be taller than currently permitted.
- The City Planner will be presenting a bylaw to amend the Business Licence Bylaw. The changes are to allow mobile food vendors (AKA food trucks) an hour longer to park on the street in order to accommodate the setup time. Serving time will remain 4 hours. There are a few other amendments regarding permit requirements and the maximum noise level of generators.
