All open burning is prohibited in the City of Terrace. 

This fire ban is in line with the province-wide fire ban put in place by BC Wildfire Service July 12. 

Hot and dry conditions throughout our area, and throughout BC, increase the risk of new wildfire starts. The aim of these fire bans is to reduce the likelihood of human-caused wildfires and protect public safety.
